Senior Technical Project Manager

Location: Budapest

Role Summary/Purpose

The GE Healthcare Edison AI team is looking for a Sr technical Program Manager working with data science teams addressing statistical, machine learning and data understanding problems in a commercial technology and development environment. In this role, will contribute to the development and deployment of modern machine learning, operational research, semantic analysis, and statistical methods, by developing, maintaining and controlling a scalable, robust data annotation and training infrastructure, built on top of industry standard modern technologies. 

Role

• Responsible for wing-to-wing execution of technical projects to deliver high quality outcomes to internal and/or external customers. 

• Partners with functional owner to define requirements. 

• Works with technical team internal and external to the initiative to ensure outcomes delivery on time, within scope and budget and of desired quality. 

• Ensures project management practices are followed and improved as needed.

• Collaborate with business and functional partners and technology leadership in specifying requirements

• Cooperate with and manage external vendors as required

• Collaborate with various IT teams in matrix organization for development of cross functional solutions.

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, retrospective, backlog refinement, sprint demo and daily stand-up.

• Manages daily activities, issue resolution and communication across project execution teams to deliver projects on-time, on-budget, as-requested by customer

• Facilitate convergence of functional and technical knowledge 

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) or equivalent.

• Min. 3-year experience in cross-functional product development / integration, product support, or project management.

• Fluency in English

• Experience of working in Agile methodology
